Following the huge success of previous weekend retreats, we are back in 2024!.
Join us for a weekend of self-care, exercise and relaxation in luxury surroundings nestled in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. This retreat aims to give you time to yourself to feel cared for and care free, and we want you to feel empowered to make self-care a priority.
During the weekend you will take part in Physio led Pilates classes, guided relaxation, PT led HIT sessions and an optional outdoor walk or run in our lovely surroundings. All abilities will be catered for so there is no need for previous exercise or Pilates experience. You can also look forward to delicious, healthy, vegetarian food and plenty of free time for you to relax, unwind and reset.
Claire will welcome you on Friday afternoon and show you around your luxury accommodation. You can then begin to relax and settle in to the calm and secluded setting.
The first session of the weekend will be a Physio- led Pilates class with Claire, focusing on stretching the body and waking up the core muscles to allow us to feel more balanced, and to switch off and settle in.
On Saturday morning Becca (of These Mum’s Do fame!) will run a circuit HIT session, using various equipment for a full body workout . There will be an optional outdoor walk or run on Saturday afternoon. We will then finish the day with a slightly more intense Physio- led Pilates class with Claire, this time focusing more on strength and improving our posture and positioning.
On Sunday morning, our final session of the weekend will be led by Becca who will take us through a energising cardio and abs session, hopefully on the outdoor terrace if the sun is shining.
We want you to feel refreshed, calmer and stronger at the end of the weekend. You will be given tips and tools to help you to maintain this feeling and allow you to continue to care for yourself both physically and mentally.
Price and Booking
What’s included:
- 2 Physio led Pilates classes, 2 HIT sessions, 1 Physio and run leader led outdoor walk or run.
- Luxury en-suite accommodation at the Lighthouse Barn, Derbyshire (please note that most rooms are based on 3 people sharing… so bring 2 friends along!).
- 5 homecooked vegetarian meals (most special dietary requirements can be catered for).
- Cake and tea on arrival, and plenty of healthy snacks throughout the weekend.
What’s not included:
- Transport (car sharing can be facilitated).
- Toiletries.
- Soft drinks and wine, but feel free to bring your own!
Total amount: £285
Deposit: 50% of total cost – final balance to be paid 12 weeks before retreat. Payment plans are also available.

Cancellations and refunds
Deposits paid are non-refundable, therefore, any cancellations will not include a return of the deposit. Should a cancellation be made 8 weeks prior to the retreat start date, you will receive a refund of monies paid minus the deposit and 10 percent administration charge. All cancellations after the 8-week period will not be refunded unless your place is filled.
